Winter Performance Program

 

Over the past several years, our Saturday Winter Performance Program has given our students great success when they have started playing golf in the spring. Providing a framework physically, developmentally, and mentally for the upcoming season, students in the program have achieved their goals for the season much more efficiently. The core principles of this program will remain intact.  We continue to learn and improve the instructional/coaching environment to achieve greater success on the golf course. 

 

As a result, this year we are very pleased to announce that our Winter Performance Program will now have a component of one-on-one training as well as group instruction ( for the same tuition as last year’s program!). Meeting individually adds tremendous value to work on golf skills and strengthen your “weakest link”.  There are also times when it is best to learn in groups and work competitively against each other to solidify, challenge, and test new motor patterns that you have been working on individually. The value of these packages is unprecedented. We will build a plan for the 2015 golf season adhering to the principles of periodization that will give you the best opportunity to efficiently achieve your goals.

 

 

You will learn:

  • Your golf swing and how to make lasting improvements

  • How to train for your optimal golf fitness

  • How to workout more efficiently

  • How to maximize practice

  • How to increase your swing speed

  • The steps necessary to change a motor pattern

  • Methods to increase awareness during the round

  • How to use the wedge more efficiently

 

        Winter Performance Program

                               

  • 3 Winter Performance Program Classes:

    •  Saturday 8:00-9:30am or 9:30-11:00am

January 10,17, & 24                   

February 7,21, & 28                                                                                                            

                                                

  • 2 – 90 minutes Individual Coaching Sessions

    • 45 minutes of 1 on 1 work with a coach followed by 45 minutes of independent practice         

 

  •  Comprehensive Golf Assessment

    • Player Interview

    • NSEGPA Physical Assessment

    • K-Vest Movement Assessment

    • TrackMan Impact Evaluation

    • Short Game Skills Testing

 

  • Titleist Performance Institute –Gift

Brandon Wessel: Master Instructor of the North Shore Elite Golf Performance Academy, President of Brandon Wessel Golf & Fitness, and Class A PGA member. Brandon is a Certified Titleist Performance Institute Level 3 Golf Instructor, Certified Level 2 TPI Biomechanist, Certified Level 3 TPI Junior Coach, Certified TPI Level 2 Golf Coach, Certified TPI Level 2 Golf Mechanist, Level 1 C.H.E.K. Institute Holistic Lifestyle Coach, C.H.E.K. Institute Exercise Coach, GCA Certified – Developing a World Class Junior Program, GCA Certified – Mastering the Mental Game, and is working towards his Masters in Trackman Technologies.

 

Bob Dickman: Master Instructor of the North Shore Elite Golf Performance Academy, President of Robert Dickman Golf has been a Class A PGA Professional for 26 years and has taught players who have won over 45 tournaments on tour.  He is a Certified Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute Golf Instructor, Certified Level 2 TPI Biomechanist, Certified Level 3 Junior Coach, Level 2 Certified K-Vest Instructor, Certified TPI Level Golf Coach, Trackman Certified Professional, GCA Certified - Developing a World Class Junior Program. 

John McNulty: Co-founder and CEO of Synergy Fitness & Sports. Degreed in Exercise Science, John is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). With over 19 years experience in training, he continues to research and develop advanced levels of training and proper human performance.
